Maritime Security Training

K-Ship is a Mumbai based, RPSL Company, duly approved by the Director General of Shipping. Since September 2017, we have been running a Maritime Training Centre in collaboration with Naval Maritime Academy and Indian Ex-Servicemen Chamber of Commerce to rehabilitate the JCOs and Short Service Commissioned Officers by inducting them for the following courses of training.marsec training

1. Maritime Security Operatives - Armed Guards

2. Maritime Security Operatives - Unarmed for ISPS Implementation.

3. Physical Security Officers for Ports and Ships.

4. Designated Defence Marksman

5. Rapid Response Teams.

Accordingly, a one batch of trainees comprising 40 Operatives is going to be completed soon and is ready for deployment. They are being given STCW 2010 Training in Naval Maritime Academy.

At the behest of the Government of Nepal, 100 Nepali Nationals, especially Gorkhas are joining this Maritime Security Operators' Course specializing in Counter Terrorism Courses using ultra-modern weapons, Real World Scenarios and Urban Warfare with special thrust on City & Guilds Level 3 Maritime Security Operative Certification, besides the above course of training. They are also imparted training on Live Counter piracy drills on the board of the Vessel with hands on experience on Maritime Incident Management and Post Op Procedures.

As a seasoned operator well known in this part of the world for providing trained maritime security officers, it would be a matter of privilege for us if you could recruit our Ex Servicemen Operatives as also Gorkhas from Nepal specially trained for anti-piracy, counter terrorism operators for deployment on ships, tankers, cruise vessels, private yachts as also on ports in which ISPS Implementations have been done or underway.

I would deem it a privilege to enter into a working arrangement with your shipping line  for a continuous steady supply of trained operatives, with such additional training to these ex-military operatives as you may advise.

K-Ship is an RPSL Company, duly licensed by the Government of India and the arrangement of training the ex-military personnel has been approved by the Government of India in the Ministry of Defence. And you might have been aware, the Government of India has recently implemented the e-Migrate System under which only the RPSL Companies are able to upload the details of the mariners in the web site of the DG Shipping and generate the e-Migrate Tokens without which the Immigration Authorities at the airports will not give immigration clearance at the airports for these mariners.
